HyperChat [Improved YouTube Chat]
HyperChat is an add-on for the Chrome browser that enhances the YouTube livestream chat experience. Developed by Kento Nishi, this program offers a range of CPU/RAM optimizations, customization options, and cutting-edge features.
One of the standout features of HyperChat is its CPU/RAM optimizations, which include memory leak patches, a custom-built message renderer, and a cross-extension message parser. These optimizations ensure a smoother and more efficient chat experience while using minimal system resources.
In addition to performance enhancements, HyperChat also allows users to customize the appearance of the YouTube chat. Users can choose between light and dark themes and toggle various elements such as profile icons, timestamps, usernames, user badges, mentions, and emojis. The ability to render system-native emojis adds a touch of familiarity to the chat interface.
HyperChat also includes quality-of-life features such as the ability to translate messages with Google Translate, a member-only message filter, and the option to skip emoji-only messages. Users can also set HyperChat to automatically switch to "Live Chat" mode for a seamless viewing experience.
Compatible with other chat extensions like LiveTL and YtcFilter, HyperChat is maintained by the same developers behind LiveTL. It is worth noting that HyperChat is fully free and open source, ensuring accessibility for all users.
